Here are the much dreaded guidelines for submissions (via Submishmash):
Submit only poems written in English that have not been published in electronic or print publications. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but PLEASE let us know if your submissions are simultaneous. If any of your sim subs are accepted elsewhere, withdraw them by managing your submissions (using "My Submissions") in your Submishmash account. Submit up to six poems, each as a separate submission, with your name and e-mail address at the top or bottom of each document. Put the poem or artwork title in the file name. If your poem has special formatting, please submit it as a .doc file. Visual Artists may submit up to six artwork files, each as a separate submission. A short cover letter and a third person bio are optional in the "Cover Letter / Bio" section. Visual Artists are encouraged to add a link to their websites. Submit only six poems per reading period.
We will send out all notifications, accepted and declined, sometime in March, 2012. The reading period for Issue 5 is 9/2/2011 - 3/1/2012.
